Christian Perfection

Lord, people say we cannot achieve Christian perfection—to be fully and completely Christ-like. But I ask why? I do not think you are so limited in power and ability. I believe in you—in your Lordship over me. I believe you can mold me into the fullness of Christ—completely mature. I believe you will form me for this is what you said. I may never achieve physical perfection in this age, but I pray for spiritual perfection. I pray that I may be completely like Christ and that even the most vile wicked man will admit: “That man walks with God. He is like Christ.” May you have complete freedom with me to accomplish all your will.
