That I might Live for You
Jesus, My King, I don’t want to sin ever—not against you or anyone else.
Please protect me as I am weak. Lord, I hate my thoughts that wander in
dark places. I hate my fleshly desires that thrust me into disobedience.
I admit my lust for earthly pleasures and my feet that scamper to selfishness.
May you, my King, have victory over me that in my freedom I might serve
you in glorious praise. Please cleanse me! Discipline me! Rule over me!
Make me walk sinless in your sight. Bestow upon me the power to overcome
and persevere that I might live for you and you alone.
