Who Is Jesus According to the Bible?
Jesus is the Son of Man (Matthew 8:20; Luke 5:24),

in Bethlehem (Matthew 2:1)
of the tribe of Judah (Matthew 2:6; Heb 7:14)
and the line of David (Luke 1:27).
He was a Jew (John 4:9)
and the King of the Jews (Matthew 27:11; Luke 23:38;
John 18:33-34)
raised in Nazareth (Matthew 2:23; Luke 4:34; John 1:45-46)
bound by Jewish law (Galatians 4:4)
as established by the Lord through Moses (Luke 16:17;
John 19:7).
Jesus is the Son of God (Matthew 16:16; Matthew 27:54;

the one and only Son (John 3:16; Heb 11:17; 1 John 4:9),
and the image of God (Col 1:15; Col 1:29);
who from eternity (Proverbs 8:23)

and was conceived by the Holy Spirit (Matthew 1:20).

and whose sole purpose was to do the will of His father by giving

and was raised back to life in the same body three days later
